Reykjanes peninsula

This tour is great in many ways and since we will not be travelling significantly long distances compared to some other tours, you have even more opportunities to tailor make your own trip as we go along. There are many great spots on this trip that we can explore and you also have the option of going to the infamous Blue lagoon or learn more about the history of Vikings by going to the Viking world museum where you can among other things, board a viking ship that sailed between Iceland and New York in the year 2000. Whether you go to the blue lagoon or Viking world, your driver guide will of course patiently wait for you. Keep in mind that if you choose to go to the Blue lagoon, you will have to book your own tickets to go in. Whatever time slot you choose, we will find a way to build the rest of your trip around that awesome experience.

Just like for most of our trips, we won‘t necessarily visit every single interesting spot on the peninsula but it‘ll depend on what you prefer to do and how much time you want to spend at each spot. If you go an bath in the Blue lagoon for example, you‘ll probably have to sacrifice some of the other spots if you don‘t want to spend all day and all night on this one trip. Most people that come to Iceland, want to visit the Blue lagoon and this trip is perfect to do that and use the rest of the day to see some other great things that Iceland has to offer.
Among the things you could expect to see on this trip are: A beautiful lake, powerful hot springs, light houses, ocean cliffs, ship wrecks, the bridge between continents and more.

If it suits you, we could build this trip around:

Viking world – Regular admission fee is included in our price but if you want to get a guided tour there for your group, that costs 10.000 ISK.

Blue lagoon – You have to book the ticket yourself at www.bluelagoon.is but with us you don‘t have to worry about the time slot you choose because we will gladly work our way around it.

Airport – Of course it‘s possible to do this trip directly after your arrive in Iceland (if you arrive early in the day/morning), in which case we would simply pick up you up at the airport and then drop you off at your hotel afterwards. The same goes for if you have a late flight from Iceland, then we could do this tour (or a part of it) before driving you to the airport.

Just like with any other trip with us, we highly suggest you send us an email at info@vikingtrips.com when you're booking the trip, just so we can make sure everybody is on the same page and we can make the most of our time together.

99.900 ISK.

Per vehicle.
